Easter Festivities

For Easter this year we headed down to sunny St. George. I was really happy to be driving down there on Thursday since when I woke up it looked like January outside! The boys had a really great time while we were there. Their cousins were staying at Grandma and Grandpa's as well, so they spent the whole weekend running around and playing with all the kids. We were able to play outside without coats, they went to the park, we walked around the arts festival and had fun Easter activities. Bentley was so excited to get to ride Grandmas horse, and he did a great job! Thanks to all the practice he gets at Thanksgiving Point!

All the kids colored eggs. Hamilton thought he was suppose to eat it for some reason. He would paint on it and then suck on it. He had a good time though.

The cousins introduced us to a new tradition this year... On the night the Easter bunny is coming go outside and plant a jelly bean in the dirt. When you wake up Easter morning go outside and your jelly bean will have grown into a sucker! I couldn't believe how much the kids loved it! They thought that was the coolest thing!
