Bentleys in 2nd Grade

The first day of school was crazy this year! 2 days before school started we had our offer accepted on a house in Alpine. We werent even planning on moving and then happened to find an amazing home that we decided to go for. So the night before school started we decided to go ahead and start Bentley at the new school so that he would be able to be new and start off fresh with everyone else. We thought that would be easier on him then moving him a month after school. So the first day of school we got up drove to Alpine and registered him at his new school, Westfield Elementary! Bentley was nervous but I was so proud of him. He had no time to let it sink in and prepare himself, all of a sudden he was going to a new school and he had to be ok with it. He did great and the 2nd day of school he had already came home with a kids number for a play date. And I think it took all of 4 days for him to make his best friend. There are no words for how proud and happy he has made me over the last month. Always going to school with a smile and doing his best to fit in. Im so happy he likes his new school and teacher.
